Volunteer Educators Trainers, Online Training
Total Duration: 5 weeks (8-10 hours per week; 40-50 hours overall) + 10 weeks of support to Volunteer Educators as they implement their local workshops
Minimum % of course work to study to pass: Must successfully pass 70% of quizzes
WEEK 1: 17/11/2021 – 21/11/2021
International Event: 17/11/2021, 17:00-19:00 CET: Introduction & Onboarding, collective international online meeting with participants and partners from all countries of e-VELP.
Individual online work: Chapter A & B
WEEK 2: 22/11/2021 – 28/11/2021
Individual online work: Chapter C
Your support activities with VEs: you will be assigned to 1-2 VEs (based on your preferences and availability) and you will start supporting the VEs by: reviewing their Assignment 1 and replying to their questions and engaging them in their course chapter A,B forums. Optionally you can apply for and co-moderate a group online work session for VEs.
Group online work with other VE-Trainers: During this online session, you will meet other Volunteer Educator Trainers, share your status, bring your cases/questions and support each other as peers. Experienced coaches from partner organisations will join the session in order to assist you with your questions. It will take place on the 25th November at 5pm CET.
WEEK 3: 29/11/2021 – 5/12/2021
Group online work with other VE-Trainers: During this online session, you will meet other Volunteer Educator Trainers, share your status,bring your cases/questions and support each other as peers. Experienced coaches from partner organisations will join the session in order to assist you with your questions. It will take place on the 2nd December at 5pm CET.
Your support activities with VEs: you will continue supporting your VEs by: reviewing their Assignment 2. Optionally you can apply for and co-moderate a group online work session for VEs.
WEEK 4: 6/12/2021 – 12/12/2021
Your support activities with VEs: this week there are no assignments for review but you continue supporting VEs by answering their questions raised in Chapter D forums. 2. Optionally you can apply for and co-moderate a group online work session for VEs.
Group online work with other VE-Trainers: During this online session, you will meet other Volunteer Educator Trainers, share your status, bring your cases/questions and support each other as peers. Experienced coaches from partner organisations will join the session in order to assist you further with your questions. It will take place on the 9th December at 5pm CET.
WEEK 5: 13/12/2021 – 19/12/2021
Individual online work: You will have 1 assignment to complete.
International Event: Wrap-up online session with all participants, including VEs and partners from other countries. It will take place on the 13th December at 5pm CET.
Your support activities with VEs: you will continue supporting your VEs by: reviewing their Assignment 3. Optionally you can apply for and co-moderate a group online work session for VEs.
Group online work with other VE-Trainers: During this online session, you will meet other Volunteer Educator Trainers, share your status, bring your cases/questions and support each other as peers. Experienced coaches from partner organisations will join the session in order to assist you further with your questions. It will take place on the 16th December at 5pm CET.
From December 2021 to February 2022
You will support your VEs on occasions, as they implement their workshops in local Host Organisations, and you will coordinate with them directly how you wish to communicate.
