Getting messages across effectively

– What type of communication styles would you rather use with the VEs you will support?
– Why do you think they will work better?

I believe that the verbal communication is the most effective one in getting messages across. We are in a learning phase, and instructions must be passed down clearly, so that they can be understood by everybody. I am a fan of storytelling, so I would use this with the VEs. Also, when it comes to non-verbal communication, this is an effective way of communication (but unfortunately having the exchanges online is not as great as having face-to-face meetings). The movement of the body is important when communicating, which must be “coupled” with the tone of the voice /pauses in the speech.

I like what Maria Daniela Ipate mentioned and I agree that the verbal communication can be really effective, but also, I believe in the power of written and structured messages. And yes, sadly, the current situation is making it harder for the non-verbal communication to be really obvious.
